Summer Upgrade
Westcom has successfully completed a project to install a new virtual server infrastructure for Wey Valley Academy in Dorset. Based on HP Enterprise DL380 Generation 10 server hardware and HP Enterprise storage, Westcom provide a full installation service including the migration of the virtual servers.
This new platform gives the academy a huge boost in storage, capacity and resilience not to mention much better performance of the whole server infrastructure.
The work was completed over the summer break so as not to cause any disruption for students or staff, the whole infrastructure was up and running in time for the start of term in September – on time and on budget.
