Cambridge University Press Managed Network

Westcom Networks secures contract to install and manage a full wireless and wired network for a new distribution depot for the Cambridge Univerisity Press.  Publishing educational material since 1584 CUP is the publishing business of Cambridge University.

Installing a network of managed switches and BlueSocket Controllers in high availability mode,  Westcom has installed a network infrastucture which supports the business on a 24/7 basis.  With wireless devices for bar code scanning through to IP printing and telephony, the Westcom designed and installed network ensures that this distribution centre, some distance from the Cambridge HQ can opperate as if it was on the same campus.
