BlueSocket Release the new 1840 802.11a/b/g/n Access point

The Bluesocket BSAP-1840 802.11a/b/g/n Access Point is ideally suited for organizations moving toward true enterprise mobility.

Designed for environments and applications that require high capacity, scale and speed, the BSAP-1840 provides predictable and reliable WLAN coverage, improving client performance and end-user experience. Leveraging Bluesocket’s technology leadership position with high throughput/coverage solutions, the BSAP-1840 platform is engineered to support the requirements of high- speed WLAN technologies and emerging bandwidth intensive and latency sensitive applications such as VoIP and VoIP over Wi-Fi, wireless video distribution and high performance data solutions.

The BSAP-1840 includes two 11n-based radios, 6 R-SMA Connectors for external antennas and GigE port to support dual concurrent 40Mhz streams delivering market leading coverage and throughput. BSAP-1840 is able to support the 802.3af power standard and deliver full-feature performance with a single-port Power over Ethernet (PoE) solution.
